GARBAGE/RECYCLING DISPOSAL AND RATE CHANGES
MOVING FROM ORANGE GARBAGE BAGS TO NEW GARBAGE AND RECYCLING CARTS WILL BE ROLLING OUT THIS FALL!!
The City of Rockford residents will begin rolling out new garbage and recycling carts this fall. Rockford residents will receive one 65-gallon refuse cart and one 96-gallon recycling cart. These carts are designed to be lifted mechanically by garbage trucks and feature a permanently attached lid and handle that allows for easy maneuvering. Jendro will be delivering these carts sometime this fall to each residential dwelling.
